1. Definitions

• "We / Us / Our" — Lanna Time, the watch repair workshop.
• "You / Client" — any person who contacts us, uses our website, or engages our services.
• "Services" — the watch repair, assessment, and refinishing services described on our website.
• "Watch" / "Timepiece" — any horological item entrusted to us for inspection or work.
• "Agreement" — these Terms, together with any written service estimate or confirmation we provide.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a contact form, calling us, visiting our premises, or handing over a watch for service, you confirm that you are aged 18 or above, have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement, and accept these Terms in full. If you are acting on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their authority to do so.

3. Services

We offer three core services — Service Health Check, Crystal & Case Refinishing, and Heritage Movement Restoration — as described on our website. Prices listed are in Thai Baht (฿) and represent starting rates. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before any work begins.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, particularly if the work required falls outside our expertise or the watch's condition presents risks we consider unacceptable. In such cases, we will inform you and return the watch without charge.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about the watch, including its origin, known issues, and any prior repair history.
• Confirm that you own the watch or have the legal right to authorise work on it.
• Review and acknowledge the written estimate before work commences.
• Collect your watch within 30 days of notification that service is complete. After 60 days, we may apply a storage fee.
• Use our website lawfully and without attempting to disrupt or compromise its security.

5. Watch Intake & Care

Upon receiving your watch, we complete a written intake record noting its condition, visible features, and any pre-existing damage. This record is shared with you. We take reasonable professional care of all items in our custody. However, we are not liable for pre-existing faults, undisclosed prior repairs, or damage arising from the watch's condition at intake.

For Heritage Movement Restoration, sourcing period-appropriate parts may extend timelines. We will keep you informed of any significant change to the estimated duration or scope.

6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). A written estimate is provided before any work begins, and we will request your approval for any costs beyond that estimate. Payment is due upon collection of the completed watch. We accept cash and major payment methods as displayed at our premises.

If you decide not to proceed after an assessment, a consultation fee may apply, as noted in the written estimate. This covers the time and materials used in the inspection.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, layout, and design — belongs to Lanna Time or its content suppliers. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction, redistribution, or adaptation for other purposes requires our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

Our website content is provided for general information. While we take care to keep it accurate, we do not warrant that information is complete, up to date, or free of error. Website availability may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Watch repair is a skilled craft and outcomes depend on the condition of the movement and components. We cannot state in advance the precise result of any restoration, and descriptions of services on our website are illustrative rather than binding commitments as to specific outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising from a service shall not exceed the price paid for that specific service.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including loss of sentimental value. This does not limit liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Termination

You may withdraw from a service at any time before work commences, at no charge beyond any consultation fee stated in the written estimate. Once work has begun, you may request that we stop; in this case, you will be charged for work completed to that point. We may decline or discontinue a service if we discover undisclosed relevant information or if your conduct is inappropriate.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern about our services or these Terms, please contact us directly in the first instance. We prefer to resolve matters through open conversation. If a concern cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

12. General Provisions

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any written service estimate, constitute the whole agreement between us.
• Severability: If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain in force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent.

13. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
